What this brand platform shows
This page shows how Wave builds a brand platform, using the studio's own brand as the example. A brand platform is the strategic foundation that comes before any visual design. Wave's platform moves through several stages: the studio's capabilities and resources; the target audience and its core segments — founders and creative-led companies working in emotion-driven categories such as wellness, beauty, fashion and culture; an insight into what those clients need; a positioning map that locates Wave among experimental, culturally-oriented design studios; a review of how comparable studios communicate; and the brand core — Wave's message, reasons to believe, values (courage, creativity, development), character (fresh, bold, confident, sexy) and its positioning as a studio of strategic branding and experimental design. A brand platform turns an intuition into a coherent, defensible system before a single visual is made.
