Mantera Seaview Residence is a five-star hotel and branded apartment complex on the Black Sea coast, near Krasnaya Polyana. To draw investors, bloggers and media editors into the project, its developer gave them a branded home set built around a signature scent. Wave came in through an existing client — the fragrance and skincare brand LiaLab, which created the scent and cosmetics — and defined what else the set should hold beyond the client-side shampoo, balm and diffuser: a candle and a piece of rock crystal sourced from the Krasnaya Polyana mountains near the site, so a luxury sea mood met a mountain note. Wave’s main work was the packaging — the outer set box, the gift bags, the inner boxes, the tray that holds everything in place and its covering, and the vessels the products are poured into. The approach was deliberately handmade: hand-blown glass, hand-poured candles, recycled and printed tracing paper, silk and decorative concrete, with no motion or digital layer, only complex craft coordinated across several production shops. Around a thousand sets were given out. Through them the developer opened conversations with major publications and bloggers, and investors began recommending the project to friends — keeping the scent at home kept a piece of the residence with them, a niche instrument for long-horizon marketing.
